Day Treks & Hikes
We organise day treks and hikes for our guests. The treks are usually easy to moderate and can be comfortably completed in a few hours.
The Pari Tibba hike is highly recommended as the trail takes you right into oak and pine forests and the views from top are worth it.
We also have arrangements to pack a picnic basket for anybody who wants takes their 'high' tea, literally.

Cuisine is an essential component of the composite called 'culture'. Therefore, your visit to a particular place is not complete until you have tasted the local cuisine. Our kitchen is staffed with local Garhwali cooks who whip up delicious local dishes like Bhatt Ki Dal, Aloo Techauni, Bicchu Ki Sabzi, Til ki Chatni, Jhangore ki Kheer.....yumm!
Garhwali's cook some amazing vegetables like Burma Kaddu and Meetha Karela which, if you haven't tried, should be on your must-eat list.

Our staff is our strength and we believe in employing local talent. Hence, all our staff is local from neighboring villages. We ensure that they get to partake in the share of the economic benefits which their land produces. You may notice their less-than-perfect mannerism and accent, but all that is overshadowed by their genuine sense of service and hospitality towards the guests.
